We don't care how big the team is.

What We're Looking For
Only short-form daily games with a 24-hour reset can be nominated for Playlin Awards (i.e. the challenge resets every day, like Wordle).

Who can nominate a game?
Anyone. Players, creators, and studios. If you love a daily game, you can nominate it.
What types of games are eligible?
Any daily game that:
- is available to the public on the web,
- has a daily recurring challenge,
- is free to play,
- has been active anytime during 2025.
Does a game need to be popular to be nominated?
No. Hidden gems are welcome! The Playlin Awards exist to surface brilliant work that deserves a spotlight, not just big hits.
Can I nominate my own game?
Yes. Creators and studios are welcome to nominate their own work.
Can I nominate multiple games?
Yes. If you love twelve games, nominate all twelve.
Is there a cost to nominate?
No. Nominations are free.
What types of games are eligible?
Daily games in all formats, including:
- Word and letter puzzles
- Logic and puzzles
- Trivia challenges
- Timeline / sequencing challenges
- Audio-based or music-recognition games
- Visual recognition or spot-the-difference
- Experimental formats that deliver a daily challenge
If people show up to play because it's today, it belongs here.
Do nominees need to provide assets or work?
No. We handle everything needed for evaluation. If your game becomes a finalist, we may request optional promotional assets (like a logo or screenshot).
How are winners selected?
A multi-stage process:
- Public nominations are collected.
- Playlin filters for eligibility and category fit.
- A diverse panel of independent judges scores the finalists.
- Winners are announced in January 2026.
Can daily game companies sponsor the awards?
Sponsorship has no influence on nominations, finalists, or judging.

When are winners announced?
Winners of the 2025 Playlin Awards will be revealed January 2026.
