Guess the exact degree measure of the displayed angle within four attempts, using higher/lower feedback and temperature hints to narrow your guess.
Playlin'sGuide
Angler is a daily geometry puzzle where your mission is to identify the exact degree measure of an angle in 4 guesses or less.
Each day you're shown a simple angle drawing. Your job is to eyeball it and guess its measure as a whole number from 1Β° to 359Β°. Type your guess, and the game tells you whether the true answer is higher or lower, plus a color-coded "temperature" hint showing how close you are.
- You have 4 guesses to nail the exact degree.
- Type any whole number from 1 to 359 and hit Guess.
- Each wrong guess returns a directional arrow (higher or lower) and a closeness tier: Burning (within 2Β°), Very warm (within 5Β°), Warm (within 10Β°), Cool (within 20Β°), or Cold (more than 20Β° off).
- The teal arc at the vertex marks which interior is being measured. This matters for reflex angles over 180Β°, where the figure could otherwise be read two ways.
- Only the precise degree counts as a win. Close doesn't cut it.
- A new angle drops daily.
Why we like it:
- β That satisfying moment when your eyeball geometry lands within 2Β° on the first try.
- β The feedback system turns a pure guessing game into a smart narrowing puzzle.
- β Fast enough to play on a coffee break, tricky enough to make you think twice.
Hint: Start with a confident eyeball guess, then use the temperature tiers to binary search your way in. If you're "warm" at 10Β° out, your next guess should split the difference, not inch forward by ones.
