Anything Grid is a daily trivia puzzle where you fill a 3x3 grid with answers that satisfy two categories at once, rewarding creativity and obscure knowledge.
Each cell sits at the intersection of a row category and a column category. Your job is to find anything that fits both. The categories can be wildly different, like "Historical" and "Green," or "Animal" and "Fast." The game accepts an enormous range of answers, from the obvious to the wonderfully strange.
How it works:
- Click any cell to start. You'll see its row and column categories.
- Search for an answer that matches both. French Revolution works for Historical × Change So does Bathing Machine (a historical changing room).
- Fill all 9 cells to complete the grid.
- Scoring is inverse. The more obscure your answer, the lower your score. Lower is better.
- After you finish, compare your picks with the most popular and most niche answers from other players.
- A new grid drops every day.
Answers are scored on a spectrum from Obscure (under 1 point) to Universal (over 1,000 points). Hunt for deep cuts.
Why we like it:
- ✅The categories stretch your brain in unexpected directions every single day.
- ✅There's no single right answer, so you can get weird with it and still win.
- ✅Chasing low scores turns general knowledge into a creative challenge.
Hint: Don't settle for the first answer that comes to mind. Spend a few extra seconds hunting for something more obscure. That's where the fun lives, and where your score drops.
