Objective

For each question, predict where the crowd will land on the scale, give your own answer, and compare both with the crowd's actual result.

Playlin'sGuide

At What Point? is a daily prediction game where your mission is to guess where the crowd draws the line, then answer the same question for yourself.

Each question puts a sliding scale in front of you. First you place your guess for how everyone else will land. Then you give your own answer and see how close your read on the crowd was. Most people simply guess their own answer, but the best players don't.

  • Place a marker where you think the crowd will land.
  • Then lock in your own answer.
  • See where the crowd actually balanced, compared with both of your picks.
  • Work through every question to finish the round.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…It turns everyday opinions into a clever test of how well you know other people.
  • βœ…Quick enough to play in a couple of minutes, with no sign-up needed.
  • βœ…Seeing the crowd's answer after each question is surprising and fun.

Hint: Step out of your own head. Your answer is just one data point, so picture the full range of people answering and aim for the middle of that crowd.
