Objective

Choose a reference city, then place a pin as close as possible to the named city.

Playlin'sGuide

Atless is a daily geography game where your mission is to drop a pin on a blank globe as close as you can to a named city, with no coastlines and no borders to help.

You get a city name and an empty globe. Before you place your pin, you can pick a reference city to steer by, so you can judge distance and direction from a place you know. Everyone plays the same set of cities each day.

  • Read the city name and choose a reference city.
  • Place your pin where you think the city sits.
  • See how close you landed, then move on to the next city.
  • Finish the set to see your final result.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…Removing the map turns geography into pure instinct and mental reasoning.
  • βœ…The reference city adds a smart twist, since choosing a good anchor is half the skill.
  • βœ…Everyone gets the same cities, so comparing results with friends is easy.

Hint: Pick a reference city that you know well and that sits in the same part of the world as your target. Estimating "a bit north and east of here" beats guessing from nothing.
