Ballpark is a daily business guessing game where you identify a well-known company and estimate three key numbers: its founding year, annual revenue, and valuation. You score up to 300 points based on how close you get.
Each day brings a recognizable brand from the U.S. or Europe. You'll know the name, but can you ballpark the numbers? Drag sliders to lock in your estimates for each metric. The closer you land, the more points you earn. Perfect accuracy isn't required. Good instincts matter more than exact figures.
- You're shown a famous company with its sector and country.
- Drag the slider to guess its founding year, then lock it in.
- See how close you were and earn points based on accuracy.
- Repeat for annual revenue and valuation.
- Your final score is out of 300 points, shareable when you're done.
- A new company drops every day, or play a random one anytime.
Why we like it:
- ✅Reveals the surprising gap between brand recognition and actual business scale.
- ✅Teaches you to think like an investor without needing a finance degree.
- ✅Quick, satisfying, and humbling in equal measure.
Hint: Start with founding year to anchor yourself in the company's era, then use that context for revenue and valuation. A 1990s tech giant plays by different rules than a 2010s startup that went massive fast.
