Objective

Choose a daily puzzle and complete its task, whether that means fitting pieces or naming a culprit.

Playlin'sGuide

Blame Nick is a collection of free daily puzzle games from where your mission is to pick a puzzle and crack it, whether that means folding paper, packing pieces, estimating a number, or solving a cryptic clue.

Each game is small, quick, and built by Nick. The collection mixes spatial challenges, trivia, and cryptic crossword-style deduction, and new games turn up most weeks. Some stick around, some don't.

  • Pick a game from the homepage.
  • Play the round by following that game's goal, like matching a shape, filling a tray, or naming the culprit.
  • Each game gives you feedback as you go, so you can adjust and try again.
  • A round ends when you solve it or lock in your answer.

A few games we tried are:

  • Crease: a daily origami game.
  • Killer Clues: a daily cryptic crossword-style word puzzle.
  • Snug: a daily visual puzzle for packing fanatics.
  • Knot Really: A daily number-based puzzle that requires untangling the clue.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…Great variety, so there's a puzzle for whatever mood you're in.
  • βœ…Every game is bite-sized and easy to fit into a spare few minutes.
  • βœ…It's a friendly, personal project.

Hint: Start with the game whose one-line description sounds most like something you already enjoy. Once you've got a feel for the style, try the one that sounds least like your usual taste.
