Bongo is a daily word building game created by Seth Godin where your mission is to arrange 25 letter tiles into the highest scoring board you can make in a 5x5 grid.
You're given 25 tiles plus one wild card. Your job is to build five words across the five rows. Columns don't count, so focus your energy horizontally. Each day brings a completely different challenge: new letters, new point values, and shifting multiplier squares.
- Drag and drop tiles to form 5 horizontal words across your grid.
- You get one wild card that can be any letter you need.
- Letter values and multiplier positions change every day.
- Try to build a word on the neon bonus line for extra points.
- Submit your board to see how you rank against other players worldwide.
- The highest score submitted first each day wins Bongo Champion status.
Each daily puzzle is curated by a real person, sometimes a notable author or creator, and comes with a personal note when you finish.
Why we like it:
- β Every board has thousands of valid solutions, so you're always chasing that perfect arrangement.
- β Daily changing rules keep the strategy fresh instead of letting you rely on memorized patterns.
- β The Champion system turns a solo puzzle into a thrilling race against skilled wordsmiths everywhere.
Hint: Start by identifying your hardest letters to place, like Q or Z, and build around those first. Save your wild card for the bonus line if you can manage without it elsewhere.
