Playlin'sGuide

BoxArt Movies is a daily movie guessing game where your mission is to identify a mystery film from its box art alone, typed out letter by letter on an onscreen keyboard.

Each puzzle opens with a single movie poster, mostly masked, challenging you to name the film behind the artwork. You type your answer using the keyboard provided, and a clue option is available if you get stuck.

  • Type your guess using the onscreen keyboard.
  • Use the clue feature if you need a nudge in the right direction.
  • Study the poster's artwork, color palette, and composition for hints.
  • A new movie poster drops every day.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…A fresh spin on trivia that rewards visual memory as much as movie knowledge.
  • βœ…Covers everything from blockbusters to cult classics, so there is always something new to learn.
  • βœ…Quick enough to squeeze into a coffee break, yet tricky enough to make you think.

Hint: Look past the title treatment and focus on the imagery itself. Taglines, character poses, and background details often give away the genre and era long before you spot the name.

Playlin's Guide is based on our experience and details from the creator’s official site.
