Playlin'sGuide

Breakdown is a daily estimation game where your mission is to guess how a whole splits into its parts, then see how close you came to reality.

Each day brings a new question about a shared total, with a handful of categories to divide it between. You start with an even split and reshape it with your gut instinct. Then you reveal the real numbers and find out how sharp your instincts really are.

  • Drag the dividers to resize each slice to match your guess.
  • Reveal the answer when you're happy with your split.
  • Get a verdict on how close your guess was.
  • Each puzzle is one round, so you lock in your best estimate and see how you did.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…Every puzzle teaches you a surprising fact about how the world is put together.
  • βœ…Dragging dividers feels more playful than typing a number.
  • βœ…Quick enough for a coffee break, with plenty to talk about afterward.

Hint: Start with the slice you're most sure about, whether it's the biggest or the smallest. Then adjust the rest around it. Anchoring one slice makes the others much easier to place.
