Playlin'sGuide

Country Draw is a geography game where your mission is to sketch a country from memory, then see how close you got.

You're given the name of a country and a blank canvas. Your job is to draw its borders as accurately as you can. No tracing, no peeking at maps. Just you, your mouse or finger, and whatever mental image you have of that nation's shape. Once you submit, the game overlays your attempt on the actual borders so you can see where you nailed it and where you drifted into the sea.

  • Draw the outline of the named country freehand.
  • Submit your sketch when you're done.
  • The game shows the real borders overlaid on your drawing.

The challenge is remembering its actual shape. Most of us have a very rough idea of what Italy looks like, and an even rougher one for places like Kyrgyzstan or Benin (the creator has been adding more countries since launch)

Why we like it:

  • βœ…Humbling in the best way, especially for countries you thought you knew.
  • βœ…Quick to play but sticks with you all day as you second guess your coastlines.
  • βœ…Sharpens your mental atlas one wobbly border at a time.

Hint: Start with the most distinctive feature of the country. A peninsula, a recognizable coast, or a major bulge. Build outward from there. Even if the details are wrong, getting the overall gestalt right makes a huge difference.

Playlin's Guide is based on our experience and details from the creator’s official site.
