Playlin'sGuide

Does Monday Work? (DMW) is a daily scheduling puzzle where your mission is to place a roster of events onto a calendar month while satisfying an evolving set of logical constraints.

You start with a blank calendar and a handful of events to schedule. Each event takes up one or more days. As you place them, new events unlock, and new calendar rules appear. Some rules dictate spacing, some force certain events onto specific weekdays or dates, and some create dependencies between events. Your job is to find the one arrangement that satisfies everything.

  • Drag events from your list onto the calendar grid.
  • Each event reveals its own rules when selected.
  • Placing events correctly unlocks more events and additional calendar rules.
  • The puzzle grows more complex as you progress, typically building to around 11 events.
  • A new scheduling scenario drops every day.
  • You can reset and rearrange as many times as you need.

Why we like it:

  • It captures the exact flavor of juggling a real calendar without the stress of consequences.
  • The gradual reveal of constraints keeps you guessing and adjusting as you go.
  • Every solution feels earned, like untangling a knot one thread at a time.
