Don't Look Up

Don't Look Up is a satirical strategy game where you play a wealthy giant with one goal: collect $1 trillion before the crowd below brings you down.

You take a fee from people's earnings. Raising it brings in more money, but push too hard and people start looking up. Once they notice you, they stop paying, alert others, and head for your feet. Your job is to keep the money flowing and their attention elsewhere.

How it works:

• Use + and − to adjust your fee. Watch the red line showing how much the crowd will tolerate.
• Buy distractions and place them near groups you want to influence.
• Some distractions work temporarily. Others keep influencing the surrounding area.
• Yellow people have noticed you. They stop paying, recruit others, and move toward your feet.
• Blue people are believers who pay the most. Red people are arguing, still paying, and drifting away from you.
• Reach $1 trillion to win. Let enough yellow people gather at your feet and you'll fall.
