Objective

Insert letters into a starter sequence while maintaining the original letter order to form as many valid words as possible before time runs out.

Playlin'sGuide

Expandagram is a fast-paced daily word game where you race against the clock to build words by inserting letters into a short starter sequence called a GRAM.

You're given a GRAM, usually three letters like P · N · D. Your job is to expand it into valid words by adding letters anywhere you want, as long as the original GRAM letters stay in their original order. So P · N · D can become POND, EXPAND, or UNPLANNED. Each word works once.

  • You have one minute to find as many words as possible.
  • Letters from the GRAM must appear in the same order in every word you make.
  • Add letters before, between, or after the GRAM letters to form valid words.
  • Longer words earn bonus points.
  • Each word can only be used once per round.
  • Tap "Shuffle GRAM" if you want a fresh starting sequence.
  • A new GRAM drops every day.

Why we like it:

  • ✅One minute is just enough time to feel the pressure without burning you out.
  • ✅Rewards creative thinking and vocabulary depth equally.
  • ✅The shuffle option means you can retry with a new challenge if the first GRAM stumps you.

Hint: Start with short, obvious words to build momentum, then chase longer ones as the clock ticks down. Don't overthink the three-letter GRAM. Sometimes the simplest expansions score you the quickest points.
