Farflung

Farflung is a daily geography trivia game where you answer five prompts by dropping pins on a world map.

Each prompt has several correct country answers, but less obvious choices carry you farther. Your goal is to travel as far as possible across the day's expedition, with a perfect score of 500 km.

• Read the prompt and think of a country that fits.
• You have 60 seconds per prompt to choose your answer.
• Tap the map to place a pin. Tap elsewhere to move it, and scroll or pinch to zoom.
• Select Drop pin to commit your answer.
• Correct answers earn distance according to their rarity: Common (40 km), Uncommon (55 km), Rare (70 km), Elusive (85 km), or Farflung (100 km).
• A miss earns 0 km.
• After each answer, you'll see the distance you earned. The full answer reveal comes at the end of the expedition.

You get one daily expedition attempt. An untimed Practice Round lets you try a prompt without recording a result.
