Playlin'sGuide
Sudoku is the classic number grid puzzle where your mission is to fill every row, column, and 3Γ3 box with the digits 1 through 9, no repeats allowed.
You start with a partially filled 9Γ9 grid. The dark numbers are fixed givens. Your job is to figure out where the rest go. Tap a cell, then tap a number to fill it. If your entry clashes with a number already in its row, column, or box, the cell turns red. Clear the conflicts, complete the grid, and stop the clock.
- Tap a cell, then tap a number from 1 to 9 (or type it). Tap the same number again to clear.
- Your entries appear in the game's accent color. Red means a conflict.
- Switch on Notes mode to pencil in small candidate digits while you work through the logic.
- The timer only runs while you play. Leave and it pauses.
Why we like it:
- β Four difficulty levels to choose from each day.
- β The timer pauses when you step away, so no pressure if life interrupts.
- β Notes mode lets you sketch your reasoning right in the grid where it belongs.
Hint: Start by scanning for rows, columns, or boxes that are nearly complete. A box with eight numbers filled leaves only one possibility. Lock in the easy wins first, then let the harder cells reveal themselves.
