GRIDDL

GRIDDL is a daily word puzzle that challenges you to solve a 5x5 grid containing 10 interlocking 5-letter words (5 across, 5 down) using color-coded feedback across multiple rounds.

The grid starts partially locked. Each round reveals more squares. Fill in all unlocked white squares and submit your guess. You'll get color feedback showing which letters are correct, which belong elsewhere in that row or column, and which don't belong at all. Helper squares at the top and right edges track letters that appear somewhere in each row or column.

• The puzzle unlocks gradually. From round 4 onward, you can solve the entire grid.
• Fill every white square before submitting each round.
• Green means correct letter, correct spot (and locks it in).
• Blue and yellow markers show letters that belong somewhere in that row, column, or both.
• Gray means the letter doesn't belong in that row or column.
• Tap a square to toggle between row and column mode for feedback.
• Your guesses don't have to be real words. Nonsense combinations can help you test letter positions.
• Scoring is based on efficiency. Fewer guesses per square means more points, with 100 as the maximum.
