Objective

Type country names as guesses using distance and direction feedback until you've found the mystery country.

Playlin'sGuide

Guess The Country is a daily geography game where your mission is to identify a mystery country using only distance-based and direction-based clues on an interactive globe.

You start by typing any country name as your first guess. Once you submit, that country appears on the globe in a color that tells you how close you are to the target. Cold colors like purple mean you're far away. Warmer colors like orange and red mean you're getting close. The hottest color means you've nailed it.

  • Type any country name to make a guess. Autocomplete helps as you type.
  • Each guess appears on the globe with a color indicating distance to the mystery country.
  • The warmer the color, the closer you are.
  • You have unlimited guesses, so no pressure.
  • A new mystery country drops every day.
  • Rotate, zoom, and pan the globe to orient yourself geographically.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…Unlimited guesses mean you can experiment without fear of failure.
  • βœ…The color feedback system makes zeroing in on the answer genuinely satisfying.
  • βœ…Great way to learn where countries actually sit in relation to each other.

Hint: Start with countries spread across different continents to triangulate the region quickly. Once you get a warm color, switch to neighboring countries to close in efficiently. Give up? Look in Google Maps, it's a great way to learn.
