Headline is a daily geography game where your mission is to identify the location behind each news headline using clues and map skills.
Each puzzle gives you a real or realistic news headline without naming the place. Your job is to figure out where in the world the story happened. You might get multiple headlines per round, each pointing to a different location.
- Read the headline and look for geographic or contextual clues.
- Click or search for the location on the map.
- Submit your answer to see how close you were.
- A new set of headlines drops every day.
The game tests your ability to connect current events, cultural context, and world knowledge to pin down a spot on the globe.
Why we like it:
- β Sharpens your news literacy and geographic intuition at the same time.
- β Headlines span politics, culture, sports, and science for good variety.
- β Quick enough to squeeze in during a break, but makes you think.
Hint: Look for proper nouns, regional issues, or cultural references buried in the wording. A headline about monsoons, cricket, or specific policies can narrow the field faster than you think.
