Objective

Guess whether each hidden stat is higher or lower than the revealed one to build the longest possible streak.

Playlin'sGuide

Higher Lower is a daily guessing game where your mission is to build the longest streak possible by deciding whether one stat is higher or lower than another.

Each day drops a fresh set of comparisons from a rotating category. You see the first item with its value revealed, then a second item with its value hidden. Your job is to guess whether the mystery number is higher or lower. Get it right and the streak continues. Get it wrong and your run ends.

  • You see two items side by side. The first shows its stat, the second hides it.
  • Guess higher or lower to reveal the answer.
  • Each correct answer extends your streak and brings up a new comparison.
  • One wrong guess ends your run.
  • One attempt per day. Everyone plays the same sequence, so scores are comparable.
  • Categories rotate daily and include themes like US State Population by Year, website traffic, country stats, and more.

Why we like it:

  • Everyone gets the same set, so you can compare scores directly with friends.
  • Quick to play but surprisingly hard to master once the obvious answers dry up.
  • You learn odd facts along the way without even trying.

Hint: Don't overthink the middle of the pack. Extreme outliers are your safest bets early on. Save your mental energy for the tight calls that come later in the streak.
