Objective

Slide blocks only along their grain and turn the box to guide the black key to the brass lock.

Playlin'sGuide

KOBAKO is a daily Japanese puzzle box game where your mission is to guide the black keys down to the brass lock and open the box.

Each box is a small sliding puzzle. Blocks only move along their grain, so you have to shuffle them in the right order and turn the box to clear a path for the key. Open it and a one-of-a-kind keepsake is added to your shelf.

  • Slide the blocks along their grain to make room.
  • Turn the box to see the puzzle from a new angle.
  • Watch the move counter as you go, then open the lock to claim your keepsake.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…The wooden box look and the brass lock feel calm and handcrafted.
  • βœ…Every box comes with a keepsake, so your shelf slowly fills with little treasures.
  • βœ…It's a new type of challenge for daily game puzzle players.

Hint: Start by looking at what is blocking the key, then work backward. Moving the blocks in its way is usually the first step, and turning the box often shows a path you missed.
