Objective

Draw lines between the six players to connect every pair who faced each other in a World Cup match.

Playlin'sGuide

LinkyGrid - World Cup is a daily logic puzzle where you draw connections between six footballers who played with or against each other in World Cup matches.

You're given players from different national teams. Your job is to find every link between them by dragging from one card to another. A link exists if two players faced each other in any World Cup match, whether as teammates or opponents.

  • Drag from one player card to another to test a connection.
  • If they shared the pitch in a World Cup match, the link locks in.
  • If not, it counts as a miss.
  • Find all hidden links to complete the puzzle.
  • A hint button is available if you get stuck.
  • A new grid drops every day with different players and connections.

The puzzle tracks your time, misses, and hints used, so you can challenge yourself to solve it cleanly.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…It rewards World Cup knowledge without requiring encyclopedic recall.
  • βœ…The logic element makes it more than a trivia quiz.
  • βœ…Quick to play but satisfying to crack.

Hint: Start with players from the same tournament year or region. Recent World Cups like 2022 and 2018 are more likely to yield connections than reaching back decades.
