Moonshot

Moonshot is a daily space-themed word game where your mission is to name answers to a category, from the most obvious to the most obscure, and fly your rocket across the solar system.

Each day brings two missions. In Common vs Blue Moon, you get a category and play two rounds. Round 1 is about what everyone says. Round 2 flips it, and you hunt for real answers almost nobody would think of. Then The Ladder challenges you to hit an exact rarity level on demand.

• Round 1 (Common): You have 15 seconds per answer. The #1 most popular answer is worth 100, and less popular ones score less.
• Round 2 (Blue Moon): You have 30 seconds per answer. Points climb with rarity: Common 5, Uncommon 20, Rare 40, Legendary 60, Mythic 80, Blue Moon 100.
• The Ladder: The game spins to a rarity rung and you name an answer that matches it. You get 4 spins. An exact hit scores 100, one rung off scores 40, and two off scores 15.
• Combos: A bullseye, a top-three answer, or a Mythic or Blue Moon find makes your next answer worth ×1.5.
• Wrong guesses cost nothing, so keep firing answers.
• A perfect run unlocks a portal to the Blue Moon sky.
• An optional one-time Flight Pass adds unlimited flights, crew mode for up to 5 players, and 1v1 duels. Half of each pass goes to Code.org.

Hint: In Round 2, don't reach for the second most obvious answer. Think of a specific subcategory or an unusual example that you would only know from real experience, because that is where Mythic and Blue Moon points hide.
