Objective

Guess which everyday word wraps around the given letter fragment, with five turns and an optional reveal to help you succeed.

Playlin'sGuide

Ngramble is a daily word puzzle where your mission is to find a familiar word that contains an unfamiliar letter fragment in 5 turns.

You start with a few locked letters already placed in the word. Your job is to figure out what common word wraps around them.

  • The fragment letters are fixed in position from the start.
  • Type only the blanks. The game skips over known letters automatically.
  • Green means correct and locked. Yellow means the letter belongs in the word but elsewhere (and stays flexible, not locked). Grey means absent.
  • You can reveal a letter instead of guessing. Tap a blank, hit Reveal, and it fills in. This uses one turn.
  • Your last turn must be a word guess, not a reveal.
  • You have 5 turns total.
  • A new puzzle drops every day.

Why we like it:

  • The fragment twist makes it feel fresh even if you've played a hundred word games.
  • Short enough to squeeze into a coffee break, tricky enough to feel earned.
  • The reveal option gives you a strategic escape hatch when you're stuck.

Hint: Start broad. Guess a common word that fits the fragment, even if it feels random. The color feedback will narrow your options fast, and yellow letters give you flexibility that green ones don't.
