Padlock

Padlock is a daily number puzzle where your goal is to crack a hidden 4-digit code in just 4 tries.

Each time you enter a guess, every digit gives you feedback about how close it is to the correct answer.

• A green ring means the digit is exactly correct.
• A yellow ring means the digit is 1 away from the correct digit.
• A gray ring means the digit is at least 2 away.

The closeness wraps around in a circle, so 0 sits between 9 and 1.

That means if you guess 5:

• yellow could mean the answer is 4 or 6
• gray means it is not 4 or 6

After your third attempt, the game reveals a theme hint to help you crack the code on your last try.

Each day has a new code, and you only get one shot at that daily puzzle.
