Playlin'sGuide
PixelLinkr is a daily connections puzzle for gamers where your mission is to sort 16 video games into 4 groups of 4 based on hidden themes.
You're presented with a grid of 16 game titles. Your job is to find what connects them. Maybe it's a shared publisher, a common mechanic, games with colors in their names, or something more obscure. Select four games you think belong together and submit. Get it right and the category is revealed. Get it wrong and you burn one of your four mistakes.
- Select 4 games you think share a connection, then submit.
- Correct groups lock in and reveal their category name.
- Wrong guesses cost you one of 4 total mistakes.
- Categories can overlap or mislead, so think carefully before committing.
- Solve all four groups to complete the puzzle.
- A new puzzle drops every day at midnight.
The game warns you that categories can share traits, so that group of sci-fi shooters might actually be about something else entirely. Start with your most confident guess.
Why we like it:
- β Scratches the same itch as Connections, but tuned for gaming knowledge.
- β Categories range from obvious to delightfully sneaky.
- β Fast enough to play on a break, but tough enough to make you think.
Hint: Look for the most specific connection first. A group of four games from the same franchise is usually safer than a vague thematic link. Save the tricky categories for last when you have fewer tiles to work with.
