SCOUT

SCOUT is a daily hockey guessing game where your mission is to identify a mystery NHL player in 8 guesses using clues from every player you name.

Pick any current player from the list and he comes back as a scouting report with eight clues: team, division, position, age, jersey number, height, birth country, and shooting hand. Each one is marked against the mystery player, so every guess narrows the search.

• Type a name and choose from the list. Only listed players count, so a typo never costs a guess.
• Green means an exact match. Yellow means close. Black is a miss.
• On age, number, and height, an arrow tells you whether the mystery player is higher or lower.
• A file tracks everything you've learned, showing what's pinned down, what's narrowed to a range, and what's still open.
• Your score is the guess you solve it on, out of 8. Run out and the scout reveals the answer.
• Build a daily streak, and earn freezes that protect it if you miss a day.
• Mystery players are regulars on current rosters, and a new one arrives every day, the same for everybody.
