Objective

Use the numbers on each row and column to determine where every ship segment is located without any vessels touching.

Playlin'sGuide

Battleships is a daily logic puzzle where your mission is to deduce the location of a hidden fleet using numerical clues along each row and column.

You're given a grid and a set of ships of varying sizes. Numbers on the edges tell you how many grid squares in that row or column contain ship segments. Your job is to figure out where every vessel is hiding without any two ships touching, even diagonally.

  • Each puzzle contains a fleet: typically one battleship, a couple of cruisers, a few destroyers, and some submarines.
  • Numbers along the rows and columns show how many cells contain ship parts in that line.
  • Ships never touch each other, not even at the corners.
  • Tap or click cells to mark them as water, ship, or blank as you work through the logic.
  • Drag to paint multiple cells quickly.
  • Six different puzzles drop every day.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…Pure deduction with no guessing required if you think it through.
  • βœ…Satisfying progression as each solved cell unlocks the next.
  • βœ…Quick enough for a coffee break, deep enough to feel rewarding.

Hint: Start with rows and columns that have very high or very low counts. A row with zero means instant water marks across the board. A row with a high number often forces ship placements you can lock in right away.
