Puzzleship Ghost Hunt

Ghost Hunt is a daily logic puzzle where you place ghosts on a grid so that every numbered clue counts exactly the right number of ghosts in its surrounding squares.

Each puzzle gives you a grid with numbered clues scattered across it. Every number tells you how many ghosts occupy the squares immediately around it (horizontally, vertically, and diagonally). Your job is to figure out where the ghosts hide using pure deduction.

• Tap a square once to mark it with a cross (no ghost here).
• Tap again to place a ghost.
• Tap once more to clear and start over.
• Each number counts ghosts in all adjacent squares, including diagonals.
• When a number's remaining open squares must all contain ghosts (or all be empty), tap the number itself to auto-fill them.
• Every puzzle is solvable through logic alone. No guessing required.

Hint: Start with the extreme numbers. A zero means no ghosts anywhere nearby, so mark those squares with crosses immediately. High numbers in corners or edges have fewer surrounding squares, which makes them easier to crack early and creates a domino effect across the board.
