Objective

Select exactly 9 cells from the grid such that you use each digit 1 through 9 once and no row or column totals more than 9.

Playlin'sGuide

Kyudoku is a daily logic puzzle where your mission is to select exactly 9 cells from a grid so that you use each digit 1 through 9 once and no row or column sums above 9.

You're presented with a grid filled with numbers. Click to select cells strategically, making sure you hit every digit exactly once. The catch: add up any row or column, and if the total breaks 9, you've failed the constraint.

  • Select exactly 9 cells from the grid.
  • Use each digit from 1 to 9 exactly once across your selections.
  • No row may sum above 9.
  • No column may sum above 9.
  • Six different puzzles drop every day.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…The double constraint system makes every selection feel like a calculated risk.
  • βœ…Short enough to knock out in a few minutes, deep enough to make you think.
  • βœ…That moment when the last digit clicks into place without breaking a sum is chef's kiss.

Hint: Start by placing the high digits like 8 and 9 first. They're the hardest to fit without breaking the sum limit, so locking them in early gives you more flexibility with the smaller numbers.
