RangeRead is a daily poker puzzle where your mission is to identify your opponent's hole cards by analyzing the action from a real professional hand in 6 guesses.
Each puzzle presents a hand from actual tournament play. You see the community cards, the betting action street by street, and position information. Your job is to read the range and deduce exactly what two cards your opponent is holding.
- You have 6 guesses to name both hole cards.
- Each guess gets color-coded feedback: Green means exact card match (rank and suit). Yellow means correct rank, wrong suit. Grey means that rank isn't in their hand. Red means you guessed a card already visible on the board.
- The action unfolds street by street. Use bet sizing, position, and board texture to narrow the range.
- After you solve it (or run out of guesses), you can watch the full hand play out and see how the pros navigated it.
- A new hand drops every day, sourced from real tournament footage.
Why we like it:
- ✅Sharpens your range reading skills with real hands, not hypotheticals.
- ✅The color feedback system makes narrowing combinations genuinely satisfying.
- ✅Even a wrong answer teaches you how elite players think through spots.
Hint: Start broad. Use position and preflop action to eliminate unlikely holdings before you start guessing specific combos. A button open plays very differently than an under the gun raise.
