Objective

Search the grid for words of four letters or more, watch the board shrink with each find, and uncover all hidden frogs.

Playlin'sGuide

Ribbit is a daily word puzzle where your mission is to find every valid word hidden in a grid of letters, shrinking the board with each discovery until you uncover hidden frogs.

You start with a grid of letter tiles. Type or tap to form words of four letters or longer. Each word you find removes those letters from the board, gradually collapsing the puzzle and revealing what lies beneath.

  • Words must be 4 or more letters long.
  • Finding words shrinks the grid, removing used letters.
  • Uncover a frog by finding all words that start with a specific letter.
  • Star words are the longest possible words in the puzzle.
  • The ultimate goal is to find every word and clear the board completely.
  • A new puzzle drops every day.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…The shrinking board mechanic turns wordplay into a satisfying spatial puzzle.
  • βœ…Finding all the words for a letter and revealing a frog is genuinely rewarding.
  • βœ…Chasing star words gives you a clear target beyond just finishing.

Hint: Start with uncommon letters like Q, Z, or X. Knocking out their words early clears space and often reveals frogs faster than grinding through common letters.
