Roster Relay

Roster Relay is a daily sports puzzle where your mission is to connect two players by building a chain of teammates across MLB, NBA, or NFL history.

You're given a starting player and an ending player, often from different eras or teams. Your job is to link them through shared rosters. Each player in your chain must have been teammates with the next, meaning they appeared for the same franchise in the same season.

• Search for any player who shared a team and season with your current player.
• Add them to the chain. They become your new "current" player.
• Repeat until you reach the target player.
• Unlimited guesses. Wrong answers don't count against you.
• Each player has a rarity score. Rarer choices make for more impressive solutions.
• A new puzzle drops daily for MLB, NBA, and NFL.

The game shows each player's career timeline by franchise and years, so you can spot overlaps and plan your route. You can brute force it with superstars who played everywhere, or chase a low rarity score by digging deep into roster history.
