Playlin'sGuide
Rotato is a daily spatial puzzle where your mission is to unscramble a numbered grid by rotating 2Γ2 blocks until every tile sits in perfect order.
You start with a shuffled grid of numbers. Tap the center of any four tiles to rotate that 2Γ2 block clockwise. Tap twice (or right-click) to spin it counterclockwise instead. Tiles light up green when they land in their correct spot. Your goal is to turn the entire grid green, with numbers reading left to right, top to bottom, in as few moves as possible.
- Tap where four tiles meet to rotate that 2Γ2 block clockwise.
- Tap twice (or right-click) to rotate counterclockwise.
- Tiles glow green when correctly placed.
- Beat Par, the target move count shown at the top. Your counter stays green while you're under it.
- Four difficulty levels drop each day: Easy (3Γ3), Medium (4Γ4), Hard (5Γ5), and Devilish (6Γ6).
- Stuck? Hint highlights a smart next block (tracked separately), or Give up to end early.
Why we like it:
- β The spatial logic is deeply satisfying once the patterns click.
- β Four sizes mean you can play quick or commit to a real brain workout.
- β Watching scattered numbers snap into green order never gets old.
Hint: Start by anchoring the top left corner. Lock a few tiles in place early, then work outward. Rotating the same block multiple times can undo progress, so visualize the full quarter turn before you commit.
