Playlin'sGuide
Spelt is a daily word-logic puzzle where your mission is to fill in the missing letters across multiple rows so that every row spells a valid word and every tile from your letter pool gets used exactly once.
You're presented with a grid of partial words. Each row has a few letters already placed and one or more blanks. Below the grid sits a pool of letter tiles. Your job is to drag tiles into the blanks to complete all the words, but here's the twist: only one specific combination of words will exhaust your entire tile pool with nothing left over.
- Tap a blank cell, then tap a tile from your pool to place it or drag letters around.
- A checkmark appears when a row forms a valid word.
- You must use every tile in the pool exactly once to solve the puzzle.
- Multiple words might fit a given row, but only one set of choices uses all the tiles.
- A new puzzle drops every day. Monday is easiest, Saturday is hardest.
- Hints and undo are available if you get stuck.
- Hard mode hides the checkmarks, so you solve without instant validation.
Why we like it:
- ✅It's a logic puzzle disguised as a word game, rewarding strategy over vocabulary alone.
- ✅The difficulty ramp across the week keeps it fresh without feeling punishing.
- ✅That moment when the last tile clicks into place and the whole grid resolves is deeply satisfying.
Hint: Start by scanning for words that appear to only have one or possibilities.
