Playlin'sGuide

Squint is a daily city guessing game where your mission is to identify a mystery location from photos that shift with every wrong guess.

Each puzzle gives you three images of the same city. Make a guess. If you're wrong, more detail is shown, arrows point you in the right direction, and you try again. You have five guesses to nail it.

  • Type a city name to guess. Start typing and autocomplete kicks in.
  • Each wrong guess reveals more detail.
  • Directional arrows appear after your first miss to guide you closer.
  • You have 5 guesses total.
  • A new city drops every day.

Why we like it:

  • Photos give you architecture, street life, and landscape clues all at once.
  • The arrow hints keep it accessible without giving the answer away.
  • Built for travelers by NomadMates, so the cities span the globe beautifully.

Hint: Scan for broad environmental clues early on: climate, building density, vegetation, signs of coastal or mountain geography. Those tell you more than a sharpened street sign ever will.
