Objective

Read the category and find all the words hidden within the given phrase, where letters appear in order but word boundaries have been removed.

Playlin'sGuide

String Theory is a daily word puzzle from Pocket Puzzles where your mission is to find all the hidden words tucked inside a single phrase related to a given category.

You're given a category and a phrase. Your job is to spot the individual words hiding within that phrase, ignoring spaces and punctuation. The letters are all there, in order, but they've been strung together.

  • Read the category to understand what kind of words you're hunting for.
  • The phrase contains multiple words from that category, written continuously.
  • All letters appear in sequence. No jumbling, just removal of word boundaries.
  • Find and submit each word hidden in the string.
  • A new puzzle drops every day.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…The mechanic is simple but oddly hypnotic once you start seeing the words emerge.
  • βœ…Quick enough for a coffee break but satisfying when you crack the whole phrase.
  • βœ…Part of a solid suite of word games from Pocket Puzzles, so there's always more to play.

Hint: Start by scanning for common short words or familiar letter clusters from the category. Once you pull out one word, the rest of the phrase often reveals itself faster.

Playlin's Guide is based on our experience and details from the creator’s official site.
