SumHunt is a daily word and number puzzle where you spell words that add up to a target number using arithmetic.

Depending on the clue and the target number, the duration of SumHunt can vary.

Every letter has a value based on its position in the alphabet: A=1, B=2, C=3, all the way to Z=26. Your job is to spell words from the tiles provided, then chain them together with addition, subtraction, or multiplication to hit the exact target.

• Each word is worth the sum of its letters. CAT = 3 + 1 + 20 = 24.
• Combine multiple words using +, −, or × (calculated left to right).
• Tap tiles to spell a word, pick an operator, spell another word, and keep building until you hit the target exactly.
• A cryptic clue hints at which words to use.
