Objective

Guess the number behind a daily trivia question in five tries, using higher-or-lower hints and a heat meter to guide you.

Playlin'sGuide

Tenish is a daily estimation game where your mission is to guess a mystery number in five guesses, getting as close as you can to lock in the best score.

Each day brings one numerical trivia question. It could be anything measurable, a population, a distance, a date, a record. You submit a guess and the game tells you whether to go higher or lower, plus a temperature style readout showing how close you are, from freezing all the way up to exact.

  • Type a numeric guess to start.
  • After each guess, you learn whether the real number is higher or lower.
  • A heat meter shows how close your guess is, from freezing to on fire to exact.
  • You have 5 guesses total before the round ends.
  • Every extra guess you use lowers the maximum points on offer, so locking in early pays off.
  • A new question drops every day, keeping a running streak and best score.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…The higher or lower plus heat combo makes every guess feel informative, not random.
  • βœ…Scoring rewards confidence, so there is real tension in deciding when to lock in.
  • βœ…Quick enough for a daily habit, varied enough to keep you guessing.

Hint: Use your first guess or two to bracket the number broadly, then let the heat meter guide your narrowing. Locking in a close guess early often beats chasing exact and burning through all five tries.
