The Loop

The Loop is a daily picture puzzle from Britannica where your mission is to arrange images in a circle so that each one logically connects to its neighbors in 5 tries.

You start with a ring, one image is locked at the top. The rest need to be placed, arranged, and rearranged. Connections might be wordplay, visual similarity, idioms, or cultural references. A pig next to a football? That's "pigskin." A ladle beside the Big Dipper? Visual twins.

• Drag images to reorder them around the circle.
• Click "Check" to see if you're right. Green means correct placement, red means wrong.
• Orange borders mean "relatively correct." Those images link to each other properly but aren't in their final spots yet. You may need to flip their order.
• You can arrange clockwise or counterclockwise. Both count as correct.
• You have 5 checks total.
• Click any image to zoom in and study the details.
• Win or lose, you can view explanations for every connection afterward.
