Wonderhop

Wonderhop is a daily trivia game. Each prompt asks you to name something, and more than one answer can be right. The trick is knowing which answer to give: the obvious choice might be perfect in Sky, but barely move you in Abyss.

Choose from four daily games, each with seven prompts:

• Sky: Think like the crowd. The more popular your answer, the higher you climb.
• Abyss: Name something few people would think of. A rare answer sends you deeper.
• Past: Reach back in time. The older your answer is compared with the alternatives, the better.
• Future: Think recent. Aim for the newest real example that fits the prompt.

Type your own answer before time runs out. You get 30 seconds per prompt, or 40 seconds in Abyss. If the game rejects an answer, you can try another while there’s still time. Each answer can earn up to 100 points, for a perfect score of 700 per game.

Everyone gets the same four games, with new prompts at midnight Eastern time. All four are free to play without an account.

Hint: In Abyss, use the obvious answer as a stepping stone. If a prompt asks for a musical instrument and “guitar” comes to mind, think of another string instrument, like a dulcimer. That’s often easier than trying to think of something obscure from scratch.
