WordBridge is a daily word chain puzzle by Daniel Elgallab where your mission is to connect two unrelated words using the shortest possible chain of related concepts.
Each day, you get a new pair: a start word and a target word. Your job is to bridge them by typing intermediate words that relate to each other step by step. For example, connecting SUN to SHARK might go through HEAT, WATER, OCEAN, SHARK. The fewer links you use, the better.
- Type a word related to the previous one in the chain.
- Each word you add must connect logically to the one before it.
- Your goal is to reach the target word in as few steps as possible.
- A new daily challenge drops every day.
- Practice Mode lets you play unlimited puzzles outside the daily challenge.
- Multiplayer lets you race friends to find the shortest chain.
Why we like it:
- β Forces you to think laterally about how concepts connect.
- β No single right answer, so your chain might surprise you.
- β Practice and multiplayer modes make it endlessly replayable.
Hint: Don't overthink the first step. Broad category words like GAME, TOOL, or WATER often open up more paths than hyper-specific terms. You can always narrow down as you get closer to the target.
