Objective

Connect the three given words by adding intermediate words, each differing by exactly one letter, until they form a single linked web.

Playlin'sGuide

Word Web is a daily word puzzle where you connect three starting words into a single chain by changing one letter at a time, using as few extra words as possible.

You're given three unconnected 5-letter words. Your job is to build a path between them by submitting valid 5-letter words that differ by exactly one letter from a word already in your web. Keep adding words until all three starting words are linked together.

  • Type a valid 5-letter word that changes exactly one letter from any word already in your web.
  • Each new word must connect logically to grow your chain.
  • Keep going until all three starting words are joined into one connected web.
  • Perfect score is the minimum number of words needed. Par gives you a little wiggle room.
  • A new puzzle drops every day.

Why we like it:

  • It's a word ladder puzzle with a twist, requiring spatial and strategic thinking.
  • Beating par feels great, but hitting perfect is a genuine brain flex.
  • Short, satisfying, and you learn which letter swaps unlock the most connections.

Hint: Don't just chase the closest word. Think about which middle words open up multiple paths. Vowel swaps and common endings like -OUND or -ATCH are your best friends for bridging gaps.
