Wordchute is a daily word strategy game where your mission is to clear all 32 letters from a 4×4 board by forming words and managing what drops next.
Each day starts with a fresh chute of letters waiting to fall. You make words by linking adjacent tiles (including diagonals), and when you play a word, those tiles vanish and everything above them drops down. New letters fall from the top to fill the gaps. The puzzle ends when you've cleared all 32 tiles or run out of moves.
- Link 3 or more touching letters to form a word. Diagonals count.
- Playing a word removes those tiles and drops letters from above.
- Your goal is to clear all 32 tiles from the chute.
- Every daily board is guaranteed solvable.
- Score is ranked first by tiles cleared, then by points, so longer words boost your rank after hitting 32/32.
The real trick is planning ahead. Every word you play reshapes the board, so a greedy short word now might block a crucial clear later. Think vertically.
Why we like it:
- ✅It's part word hunt, part falling block puzzle, and that combination hits differently.
- ✅Every daily board is solvable, so failure just means there's a better path you missed.
- ✅Short enough to finish in one sitting, deep enough to replay for a cleaner solve.
Hint: Before playing a word, trace what will fall where. The best solvers work backward from empty columns, not forward from obvious words.
