Objective

Form words by chaining three or more adjacent letters to clear tiles and make all stones descend to the bottom.

Playlin'sGuide

Wordlander is a daily word puzzle where your mission is to bring down every stone in a falling tower by chaining letters into words.

You're given a grid of letters stacked in columns. Hidden among them are stones and diamonds. Chain three or more adjacent letters in any direction to form a word and clear those tiles. When you clear letters beneath a stone, it drops. The puzzle is solved when every stone hits the bottom.

  • Chain 3+ letters in any direction to form words.
  • Stones only sink when you clear the letters directly beneath them.
  • The day is complete when every stone reaches the ground, not when you run out of letters.
  • A new tower drops every day.

Strategic clearing is essential. Long words feel good, but a stone you've trapped is game over. Keep the columns under your stones open and work downward deliberately.

Why we like it:

  • The physics of sinking stones adds real spatial strategy to word forming.
  • No arbitrary move limit, just you versus gravity and vocabulary.
  • The cleared list celebrates everyone who finished, not just high scorers.

Hint: Resist the urge to grab the longest word you see. Map where your stones are first, then clear the path beneath them. A trapped stone ends your run.
