Objective

Buy letters to reveal or eliminate them across the word, then guess before your budget runs out.

Playlin'sGuide

WORDONOMICS challenges you to uncover a mystery word while managing a strict cash budget instead of a fixed number of guesses.

Every round starts with a fresh $100. Instead of racking up wrong tries, you spend money to buy information. Letters have different prices, and every purchase either reveals or eliminates that letter across the whole word. You can submit a guess at any time, but a wrong one costs you $10, so patience and math matter as much as vocabulary.

  • Start with a $100 budget.
  • Buy individual letters at their listed price. Buying a letter reveals every copy of it in the word.
  • Spend on reveals like first letter, last letter, or a random letter if you need a bigger nudge, each with its own cost.
  • Tap any blank tile and type to guess whenever you feel ready.
  • Wrong guesses cost you $10 from your budget.
  • The round ends when you solve the word, give up, or run out of budget.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…Turns a simple word puzzle into a real resource management challenge.
  • βœ…Rewards smart spending.
  • βœ…Tracks stats like solve percentage, average dollars left, and best streak for daily bragging rights.

Hint: Save your cash for high value letters like vowels before spending on pricier reveals. A well timed letter buy often tells you more than a random reveal ever will.
