Bonedoggle is a daily anatomy game from Trainwreck Labs where your mission is to identify a mystery bone by building out a skeleton one connection at a time.
Every bone in the human body is articulated, or connected, to at least one other bone. Your job is to guess bones until you land on the hidden one, using feedback about how many articulations separate your guess from the answer.
- Type a bone name to guess. Autocomplete helps as you type.
- Each wrong guess reveals its articulation distance from the Mystery Bone.
- Use that distance to figure out which part of the skeleton to explore next.
- Keep guessing, narrowing the gap, until you land on the correct bone.
- A new Mystery Bone is chosen every day.
Why we like it:
- β It turns dusty anatomy class knowledge into a genuinely fun puzzle.
- β The articulation distance clue rewards logical deduction over blind guessing.
- β Quick to play daily, but surprisingly deep once you get into the skeletal weeds.
Hint: Start with a well connected bone near the center of the body, like a vertebra or the sternum. Central bones touch more neighbors, so your first guess can reveal a lot about which direction to search next.
