Objective

Solve the dual-meaning clue, then roll your cubes through the grid to spell the word and collect a fragment of the weekly phrase.

Playlin'sGuide

ClueRoll is a daily word and cube puzzle where your mission is to solve a dual-meaning clue, then spell that word by rolling six-faced letter cubes through a grid to collect fragments for a weekly phrase.

Each day starts with a clue that points to a single word with two definitions. Once you know the answer, the real puzzle begins: you have five cubes, each showing six letters. Select a cube, pick an entrance on the grid, and roll it in a direction. The top letter moves into the grid. Keep rolling to spell your word and unlock a fragment of the weekly mystery phrase.

How it works:

You start with a dual-meaning clue, like "DAY ___ FAST" The answer fits both definitions. Type or think through the answer, then use your cubes to spell it on the grid.

  • Each cube has six faces with different letters.
  • Choose a cube, then pick an entrance (top, left, right, or bottom).
  • Roll the cube through the grid by selecting a destination. The top letter lands in each cell you pass through.
  • Spell the word using your five cubes and limited rolls.
  • Complete the daily word to unlock a fragment. Collect all fragments across the week to reveal a bonus phrase.
  • You have hint kits if you get stuck. Use them for a clue about the word or a nudge toward the right cube entrance.

Why we like it:

  • The dual mechanic (wordplay plus spatial puzzle) keeps both halves of your brain engaged.
  • The weekly phrase payoff rewards consistency without punishing a single missed day.
  • Figuring out which cube entrance gets you the letters you need is quietly addictive.

Hint: Before rolling, mentally trace your path through the grid. Count how many cells you need and check which faces of the cube will land where. A little planning beats a lot of undos.
