Playlin'sGuide
CodeDoku is a daily logic puzzle where your mission is to fill a 3Γ3 grid with the correct answers using row and column clues that intersect to guide your placements.
Each day brings a fresh themed puzzle. You might be placing countries, animals, movies, or any number of categories. The grid starts empty. Along the top, you see column clues. Down the side, row clues. Each cell must satisfy both its row and column conditions. One wrong placement costs you a life, so think before you commit.
- You have a limited number of lives per puzzle.
- Each row has a clue. Each column has a clue.
- Find answers that satisfy both the row and column requirements for each cell.
- The puzzle uses autocomplete to help you enter valid answers from the theme.
- A new puzzle drops every day, and everyone gets the same board.
The trick is using intersections. If a row asks for "landlocked" and a column asks for "South America," you need a country that fits both. Work through the easiest crosses first, and the harder cells reveal themselves.
Why we like it:
- β The intersection logic scratches the same itch as Sudoku but with trivia instead of numbers.
- β Themed categories keep it fresh and let you flex different knowledge areas daily.
- β Short enough to solve in one sitting, tough enough to make you think.
Hint: Start with the most restrictive clues. If one column or row has very few possible answers, lock those in first. They'll cascade into the trickier cells and narrow your options fast.
