Reorder the scrambled words to connect them into a chain where every two adjacent words form a familiar phrase.
Playlin'sGuide
Compound Your Joy is a daily word chain puzzle where your mission is to rearrange a row of words so that every adjacent pair forms a familiar two-word phrase.
You start with a scrambled line of words bookended by two pink words that can't be moved. Drag and drop the middle words to create a chain where neighbors connect into real phrases (even if uncommon) like "ear trumpet" or "trumpet call." Once you've linked them all, the game reveals definitions for each phrase.
- The first and last words are locked in place.
- Drag the others to form a complete chain of two-word phrases.
- Par is shown for each game. Try to solve it in as few drags as possible.
- When you finish, you can see definitions for every phrase you created.
- Additional modes are available, such as Classic mode, Definition mode, Proverb mode, Emoji mode, and Hard Phrase mode.
- A new puzzle drops every day.
Why we like it:
- β It's a vocabulary workout disguised as a satisfying spatial puzzle.
- β The definitions teach you obscure terms you didn't know existed.
- β Chasing par gives you a reason to replay and think more strategically.
Hint: Start by scanning for rare or distinctive words. The common words will slot in once you've anchored the tricky ones.
